Delete your Vedic Vaani account and data

This page explains how to delete your account in the Vedic Vaani app (by Hexaforge Technologies) and what happens to your data. You can request deletion in the app or by email.

Option 1: In the app (recommended)

• 1. Open Vedic Vaani and sign in.
• 2. Go to Settings.
• 3. Under Account, tap "Delete account".
• 4. Read the details, tap "Request account deletion" and confirm.

While the request is pending you can withdraw it on the same screen.

Option 2: By email

If you cannot use the app:

• 1. Send an email to vedicvaaniapp@gmail.com from the email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with.
• 2. Use the subject "Account Deletion Request".
• 3. We may reply to confirm that you own the account before deleting it.

Signed in with Apple using "Hide My Email"? Send the email from any address and include your private relay address, which you can find on your iPhone in Settings > [your name] > Sign in with Apple > Vedic Vaani.

What happens next

Our team reviews every request and completes the deletion within 14 days. After that you are signed out and the account no longer exists. Signing in again later creates a new, empty account.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in account and account ID.
• Your name, email address and profile photo.
• Your saved verses (bookmarks), bookmarked mantras, custom mala counts, japa mala progress, saved Sacred Stories and story reading progress, Wisdom Quest progress, Daily Sadhana progress, your Vrat Calendar (reminder settings, custom vrats with their checklists and notes), and your Leela games data: progress, leaderboard name, game results, leaderboard entries, your Mudra wallet with its history, and your reward ad records.

What is kept

• A record of the request with a masked email address and the dates, as proof that it was handled.
• Pseudonymous usage and crash statistics that do not contain your name or email, deleted automatically at the end of each analytics provider's retention period.
• Purchase records held by RevenueCat and by Google Play or the Apple App Store are kept for billing, tax, fraud prevention and legal reasons; we do not delete them. The purchase status we store with your account is deleted. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings.
• Any information we are required to keep by law.
• Data stored only on your device (settings, offline content, wallpapers saved to your gallery) is removed when you uninstall the app or delete those files.
